I had my head and neck PET scans this morning. They gave me a lovely
pill and I was in the "I don't care" zone for the entire time. I was
about 15 minutes early and we were finished and out of there by the 11
AM scheduled time for it to begin.

We took the shuttle from the RV Park (Camp Cancer) and it worked out
very well.

I am still sleepy from the magic pill, so this is it for today.

Thoughts and prayers are with all of you,

Hugs,
Janet

Let me know when you wake up and I'll put the kettle on.  Or would you
prefer a glass of wine?  Glad everything went OK Janet - let's hope the
rest of your treatment is as good.

Thank you, EM. Had a glass of wine with dinner. DH had to touch me to be
sure I was breathing, I was sleeping so peacefully.

Our next appointment is Wednesday with the radiation oncologist who will
read the PET scan. They will probably start the scheduling process for
the radiation and make the decision on chemo. I see the dental people
and the speech people on Friday.

Something good in the Houston air. I'm eating better!

Hugs to all,
Janet

Great! Sounds like you're going to get through this just fine.
