Thanks for checking in J.  I just got back from the hospital and I
think I am recovering really well.

Now I begin my journey back to "normal" life.  It's weird but I am
actuallly feeling more scared of cancer now than I was when I was
undergoing treatment.  I guess with no treatment to think about, my
mind gets focused on the fear of the cancer coming back.

This NG was a huge help for me when I was dealing with all the
discomforts and pain of my treatments.  I got practical tips and
emotional support from everyone (special thanks to Steph and J).  Plus,
it was very comforting to know I was not alone in my struggles.
Cancer, even with so much support from family and friends, can be very
isolating because you're the only one who REALLY knows what it feels
like --- all the pain and anxiety, etc.  So it felt good to be with
people who really know and understand what it feels like to have
cancer.

Anyway, I will continue to stay in this NG and hopefully be able to
provide support to others who are going through what I went through.
