Bonnie passed away quietly on the morning of July 4. She was in no
pain. She had come home from the hospital on Friday and we had a
couple of nice days together before she began the slipping away. The
kids came to say goodbye on Sunday and her sister came on Monday.
Monday evening I called her parents and held the phone up to her so
they could speak to her. She left sometime between 4 and 7 in the
morning as I slept on the sleep sofa next to her bed.
Because of her, we know more about gallbladder cancer and she set a
precedent for insurance coverage of SIRspheres for gallbladder cancer
patients.
We will have a memorial service Sunday and certain friends and family
will have private observances as well.

I'm so sorry, Jeff and family. The only consolation is that she wasn't
in pain and was ready to go. My heart goes out to you all

I am so sorry.
I didn't know her, of course. but I wish I did.
Sounds like you have a great family. Not everybody does.

Hello Jeff,
I am truly sorry to learn that Bonnie lost her fight, if memory serves me
correctly you've been through this situation before, life is cruel and words
fail at a time like this. I hope that it brings some small comfort to know
that Bonnie is at peace now that her battle is over. She has made her place
in the world and in your heart. We lose our loved ones in the physical
sense, but emotionally there is always a part of them lurking within.
Warm Hugs
