I very concerned about a new friend, I've known for a couple of months.
She and her husband are regulars at a restuarant I work at.
She told me she had breast cancer and had a biopsy a few days ago. I'm
worried about her, but I don't want to intrude. Would it be OK to
email her or is it to soon?

Why not just send a simple, caring email of support? Tell her she's been
on your mind & that you miss her & care. I wouldn't ask about the results,
prognosis, treatment. If she wants to, she will share when she's ready.
Sometimes it takes people awhile to process what is happening to them
before they're ready to talk. But we all want to know we're not alone.

Thank You so much. I will send her an email today! I won't mention her
prognosis, that was a good suggestion.
