Not a very nice subject - but here goes....

I finished chemo seven weeks ago.  I no longer get nausea but I still
do have very bad diarrhoea.  Some days are worse than others.  Is this
normal?  I know everyone's different but should I be concerned?

Thanks,

Jeremy

Hello Jeremy,
I'm pretty sure it's normal; it was just discussed in January, with a
rectal cancer patient.
Nuisance eh?
There's some diet management tips here
http://patient.cancerconsultants.com/supportive_treatment.aspx?id=1002
along with lists of chemos that typically cause diarrhea.
Remember, most of us are not experts, do not have your case file, so it's
sometimes wise to double check with your own doctor.
I hope it improves.

Jeremy, that is normal. This happened to Ken and he was given a
short-term med and it took care of the problem.
