Hi everyone,
I posted on here a while back about my wife who was diagnosed with advanced
malignant melanoma!
Denise lost her fight last Friday evening and passed away in my arms at the
hospice of St Francis in Berkhampsted herts England.
A tough and very brave lady who never once complained of her illness and who
raised almost 10 thousand pounds in fund raising since July of last year.
A truly inspirational wife and mummy who will be sadly missed by myself and
our 2 year old girl Maddison and 4 year old boy Max, although we knew it was
coming it still rocks you to the foundations and I feel my heart has been
torn in two.
She celebrated her 30th birthday only just over a week ago.
I miss you sweetheart and shall love you always
Stephen

I post here occasionally. I started reading this group because of my
friend "Socks" as he was known.
I simply can not express how sad I feel when I see another one of these
posts where someone's wife, husband, child, has died due to cancer or a
related disease. I want to let those of you know how badly I feel for
you, It is really hard for me to read these messages.
Now another victim leaves a loving husband and two small children, it is
just too sad. My deepest sympathies to those who have lost loved ones
such as this.
Your wife was able to keep on with good works even while suffering, what
a fine legacy to leave.
You have two small children that need you even more. I suspect they do
not really understand why their mother is gone.
I trust you will see that they have every opportunity to grow up and
carry on their mothers legacy.

Hello Stephen,
I am so sorry for your loss. It won't help much right now, but take some
comfort from knowing that she has finally found peace.
Your world will be full of numbness, shock and grief right now, but do know
that as time passes grief does ease. Although your wife will no longer be
with you or your children bodily, she will still and always be, lurking
there in your heart and in your memories.
Warm Hugs to you and your children.

Stephen, I am so sorry about your loss of your wife. It's so hard.
Words fail. Please try to take care of yourself. I will be thinking
of you and your children in the days ahead.

30 years old is too young. I am so, so sorry for your loss. It's hard
to find words at times like this. Hold on to life "for dear life" I
guess is all I can say. Hug the kids continually.
Peace,
-Joe
