You may remember my story, my doctor gave me 4 months to live, 12 - 14
months with successful chemo. He told me we would try three chemo
treatments and if there was improvement, we would go from there, if
there was no improvement he could do nothing else for me. My CT scan
after the frist treatment showed the tumor had grown a lot, almost
doubled. Bad news. So I didn't call to get results on the second one,
I really didn't want to know yet. I wasn't ready to hear more bad
news. When I went for third chemo, my Doctor had been called away and
I couldn't see anyone else, however another doctor looked at my chart
and sent word that the CT scan was better! Good news. I don't know how
much better or anything, but any better is good, right? I have an
appointment with my doctor next Friday and he and I will make a plan
of action. I am actually looking forward to it.
Last chemo I had so much nausea for 10 days I told my husband I
couldn't go through it again, but he talked me into it. I am taking
different nausea meds this time and hope it will be better.
I will update ya'll after I see the doctor Friday, thanks for being
here.

I had it for the whole time. A couple of days off then, Wham.
Pot helped.
I was "given" 6-12 months due to brain mets. That was Jan 2004. Those
expectancy numbers are just Guestiments.

She seems to have bumps on her liver and a tumor at the base of her
esophagus.

Glad you both got your nausea sorted out.

Hugs Wanda!
The doctor told me in December that I shouldn't plan to go to far away from
home as I probably wouldn't be doing well by January. Well, we have been
travelling and enjoying every bit of it.
So stay positive and keep your spirits up as you just never know how things
are going to go.
Looking back, I can remember going through Chemo and thinking I'd never make
it through. Now it seems like it was all worth it and it was!
my prayers are with you!
hugs
