Hi All,

Well, my numbers are down enough now that I am having Procrit shots once a
week.  Now I am having some problems urinating and the urine is very
concentrated.  My back and kidney is killing me.  They are going to do an
ultrasound tomorrow.  Is it possible that the cancer has spread to the
kidney?  No chemo until they find out what is happening.  Into the 5th week
of no chemo and that worries me, is there a chance the cancer is spreading
because I am not getting the chemo?  I am still maintaining a positive
attitude, although some times it is more difficult than others.

Hope all of you are doing okay and thanks for being there for me.

Hang in there and stay strong. I had to go just over 4 weeks without Chemo
due to a low white blood count so I don't think that is an issue. Keep us
informed and let us know what the ultrasound says.
Lots of hugs

Odette,
That is so true. I was told to drink lots and lots of water during chemo,
kept a bottle with me all the time.

I am drinking lots...not only water but also fruit juices...just does not
want to come out.  Had the ultra sound today.  They said 24-48 hrs so we
should get results Monday or Tuesday. Thanks so much for being there for me.

Odie,
you can't be getting enough fluids if your urine is very dark

Hello Odie,
Did they do bloodwork and take a urine sample?

Hi J

Yes, they did the urine sample and that is what prompted the ultrasound
which I got done yesterday. Bloodwork was done yesterday as well. I should
get the results Monday or Tuesday.

Hugs back,
Odie

Hello Odie,
Thank you for the hugs and for replying to my question.
I guess they've ruled out infection then.
I can't figure out what's going on because I thought that lung cancers spread to
adrenal and your symptoms seem kidney or bladder related. Oh well, we'll see
what they determine is the problem in a few days.
I'm just sorry you're having such discomfort. I think I know how it feels.
Take care and sending lots of hugs
J
