My dad was diagnosed with bladder cancer this year and now wears a stoma bag.They have removed his bladder,part of his ureter and prostate gland. I'm sorry to hear about your dad. What's the implications, please? More surgery and radiation therapy? I think pet scans can see cancer cells (but I'm not sure), but there's false positives.
