As many of you know I am 33 and the proud father of a beautiful 5 year
old girl and 4 month old boy. They are my life.
Well, yesterday, I went to a specialist concernign fevers I have had on
and off for the last year and a half. They come and go quickly.
To make a long story short, she is afraid it might be lympoma. (Cancer
of the lymphnodes). I am terrified I have to go for a gallium scan
Monday and for 4 days after that each day.
My c reactive protein is highly elevated to a 54. My lymphcytes are
low.
I am very scared!
I need prayer!

I'm not religious, and quite honestly not a believer, but I certainly
will have you in my thoughts. Please do let us know how things turn out
once you know.

You are with friends. Many people do believe in God, and those of us
who do here, need not be asked twice for prayer. It saved me from
Cancer, and I have no hesitation to say a prayer for you each day until
I hear from you again. Most of us, have had the sentence passed on us,
and some of us have been fortunate to beat it. I hope to add you to the
latter list. I will definitely pray at home and at Church. Keep up the
good front, and you have an army of supporters behind you.

I'll light a candle at the earliest opportunity.

It's a normal reaction to feel very scared, take a deep breath and take each
day as it comes, wait for the results of the scan and then take things from
there.

I never thought of myself as being religious ,until I was told that I had
terminal Cancer , I soon learnt to pray .
My church is a large Oak tree within my local forest , I will sit under its
branches and pray for you .
take care and stay safe , Peter .

Hello
I am Frank (AKA) "stew"
Lymphoma NHL type is a very beatable cancer at age 33 I would think you
stand a great chance of Kicking its AS# High Grade and Medium Grade
Lymphoma at least Non Hodgkins is beatable know I with the help of my
support team , family , this NG and my ONC kicked its a.s was I scared?
At first you damn I was but then I got mad and started getting madder
exercised daily by walking as much as I could tolerate, did what ever my
ONC said to do conversed with the wonderfull souls here in the NG and
decided that I was going to beat this and move on.
I was first DX'd with Stage four Lung cancer or should I say MisDX'd the
I was DX'd with stage 4E NHL I had several tumors in both lungs, night
sweats are common sign but also a common sign of many tings so don't
sweat (no pun intended) it until you get the DX then you have two
choices get mad and decide to kick its a.s or at least fight it with the
intent on wining or lay down and let it sweep you and all you are away
me I choose the first. So in other words if it lymphoma you can beat it.
Frank (AKA) "stew" oh I almost forgot
(CCKMA) CANCER CAN KISS MY a.s
Love you all ((((((HUGS)))))) to you all

I was recently in the same position. You have to look at it as whatever
happens you are strong and can get through anything. It is very scary and
you never would have imagined having this disease at your age but, there are
people here for you and you will be able to get through it without a doubt.
Positive thinking, prayer, and best wishes are powerful and will help you
through this.

Hello Tony,
You seem to be a kind and compassionate person.
But no, we're not here for "stryped".
He's (since and before the gallium scan) had all kinds of tests and scans and
they've found no cancer.
He's been posting his neurosis, on various newsgroups, for probably 2 years now.
This is not the place for him. Not now. Maybe in 20 or 30 years.
IMO
