Dear Everyone,

I appreciate all of the advice, and the time you took to help me.  I am sad
about losing Ruth's friendship, but if in time her feelings ever change, I
hope it can be restored.  I don't want to leave J, Alayne, Emily, Socks and
the others who have been so nice to me.  So I hope it will be ok if I lurk
here.  Plus, my father is still in remission, and I still need you guys, and
I need so much more to learn about new treatments and such, to help him in
the future.  Please know from the heart how much you all have meant to me.
You reached out to me when I needed you, and that means more than words can
express.  Plus it will be much needed for me to know who to block, as I
don't know many of the people here, and I know there have been recent troll
posts.  Thank you J for being so vigilant, and protective of everyone here.

So I will keep reading, learning, and loving you all.
Sharon

Hi Sharon,

Losing a friendship is always sad Ruth, life just seems too short for such
trivia sometimes but unfortunately that seems to be the way of the world
sometimes.  I lost a couple of "friends" over their handling of my husbands
diagnosis, on reflection it was my own protectiveness that probably made
things worse, but hey, I was stressed at the time and should have been
forgiven, but now I just think that perhaps we weren't really friends in the
first place.

Don't stick to lurking though ;-), if you have anything to add I am sure it
would be welcome.

Warm Hugs

Alayne
