http://www.marrow.org/PATIENT/patient_faqs.html  FAQ says the doctor
searches the database - I don't know if the database connects with the
others below (has interpreters on the phones)
http://www.niralimagazine.com/features/0410_marrow.html (possible
contact/doctor in the US)
http://www.matchpia.org/
http://www.asianmarrow.org/index.htm
http://www.crir.org/affiliatestemcell.asp

This last one has a Latvian transplant centre, address and phone #
I do not know if this FAQ is current or not
http://www.faqs.org/faqs/medicine/transplant-faq/part2/

http://www.acor.org/diseases/BMT/bmt-talk.html Do not know if it's current
(or not)

I suppose a plea (letter/paid advertisement)  to Latvia newspapers or
Asian newspapers might bring in more donations.
You would use Google http://www.google.com/advanced_search with those
words to find a list of newspapers, translate your plea, then contact
them.

good luck,
J

Best wishes, Carol.
Keep in touch and let us know your progress in your search..
Also might be of interest to others reading who may also be getting bone marrow
transplants for other cancers.
So the more you share (about which resources were helpful and which not), the
more helpful to others seeking similar information.
Thanks and again, best wishes,
J
