I realise that I probably have no vote as I do not have cancer myself.
I found comfort here when my dad died from colon cancer, much moreso than
from the kooks on the grief group (who seem to revel in how long they have
been grieving and their inability to cope). I am sorry if that sounds harsh,
but now this group is starting to become ridiculous.
We are supposed to be either supporting cancer sufferers and their loved
ones or asking for advice and support. Instead a slanging match has started
with a "my friends are bigger than yours" attitude. Get over it - which is
a damn site easier to do than getting over cancer..... which is what we are
supposed to be trying to do.
If any of you feel insulted I would suggest it is now time for one to be the
bigger person and move on/back to support.
And for the record J stays
