After my immediate relief of knowing that my family was ok, the
magnitude of this thing has begun to sink in. It makes me unbearably
sad - all those people someones dearest family and knowing that its not
going to get better anytime soon. It makes me feel all of life is just
so pointless.
All we can do is help a little I guess, I can see people trying hard to
find someone or something to blame, the govts for not having an early
warning system, global warming -whatever, but in the end -its just
random -like everything else in life.
Very depressed
hugs
Anita

Yes luv, when I think of the numbers and then all the people affected by
each loss, the magnitude of the persons affected is amplified by 10, 20, 30
or more. It's very sad.
Speaking of random, did you see posts by Jane (thread name "Introduction)?
She's had 2 cancers, including thyroid. She's going for a pet scan on
Thursday. She's got a nodule in one lung which they're uncertain what it
is. Maybe you want to pop over to her thread and introduce yourself? She's
got two children, boy 19 and girl 15.
When are things happening for you Anita? (surgery?)
Hugs dear Anita,
J
PS Jill's in surgery today, should be hearing from her in a few days.
