I was somewhat surprised today to discover that my hair, scalp, goatee,
eyebrows, and who knows is easily detached from my skin!  For some reason, not
that it matters and that each individual's experience is different, I thought
it might not happen until after at least the next round of chemo, next week.
Thankfully after Christmas, so I should feel my best for the festivities.

Happy Holidays, though times are tough I hope that most find a sense of peace
during this holiday of our long journey.

Michael,  I'm sorry that this happened to you at this time.

But still have a wonderful Christmas!

Welcome michael, I'm sorry for what brings you here.
Karen Lynn might pop in eventually to tell you what happened with her son's hair.
(so watch for her reply)
She often refers those with lymphoma to a mail list here
http://www.nhlcyberfamily.org/
but I don't know if that's what you have.
I don't necessarily want you to go away. It's just a little chaotic at the moment
because we're under "barrage" by a quack.
I'm very sorry about that.
My best wishes to you.

Hi Michael,

Sounds similar to my experience.  I had my first CHOP+R (for NHL) the
week before X-mas, 2002.  The hair started to fall out by the end of
the 1st week of Jan 2003.

I finished the chemo in March of 03 and the hair started to grow back
in April/May.

I wish you luck and hope you have a good holiday.

Carla
