Hello Anna,
I'm glad they caught that he was getting too much calcium.
The 2-4 hour injection wait is kind of boring. Does he chat it up with others
while there?
Sometimes that helps, but it sounds like a long day for him.
Keep in touch and thank you for diarying your Dad's journey through Multiple
Myeloma.
Hugs

From Anna,
Hi J, He usually takes something to read. He's not much of a talker. I hope
these posts help others even if they don't respond. Never have asked just
assumed do you have MM?

Ah, he's a reader eh? No luv, not MM, no cancer, as far as I know.
That''s why I think your posts are important.
You're our MM-information poster.
I have had bone scans for other reasons. I'm not a "sit and wait" person. I have to keep
moving.
So I get "ordered" to sit/stay (a lot) or they are going to "tie me down". <smile>
