First I know all are different and different things happen.  For those of you
on Thalidomide.  Did you have a rash on your face or look puffy.  I know from
the info Dad got that a rash can be one of the side effects.  His face is also
puffy.  So I thought I'd see if you saw either of these things.

Gee Anna, that's sounds like an allergic reaction (rash and puffy).

There's 2 mentioned here (one expected and the other quite serious) but neither seem to
mention the face?
http://www.clevelandclinic.org/myeloma/management_of_thalidomide_toxicity.htm
They also mention edema (puffy) of the extremities (legs/arms)

Have you contacted his doctor?
Hugs

Hello,
Anna J is correct and I e-mailed that info to you.  A red itchy rash could be
an allergic reaction and should be reported to the doctor immediately.  A fast
heartbeat and fever often goes along with the rash.
Linda
