If you posted a 2/3 message, it didnt get to supernews either.  I saw 1/3
and 3/3 fairly quickly.

Test messages are expressly forbidden by J's Charter unless "Ignore" is placed in the
subject line.

"Test messages are prohibited use alt.test instead and put "ignore" in the subject."

Is this alt.test?

Upon rereading the Charter, it clearly says to use alt.test for test messages.

"Test messages are prohibited use alt.test instead and put "ignore" in the subject."

btw- This message is classified by the author as an "occasional rant" made by someone
truly touched by cancer and therefore legal under  ASC Charter rules.

Ranting and  raving to vent frustration or a complaint. A rant is usually off-topic,
but occasionally concerns one of our topics of discussion. There is nothing wrong
with an occasional rant.

I dont think the problems are J's, because other people, including me,
reported a failure to see AG's posts under certain circumstances.  There
was definitely a problem with posts showing up.  "Test for J. 2/3" didnt
show up in Google Groups either, so there is something the matter with
either AG's news reader or his ISP that was used to send that message.
Since AG has other alternatives, I'd say that the problem was probably
solved.

Well, I hope I could have fixed it up. Now, I am going to read the whole
rules and regulations about the newsgroup. I didn?t know tests were not
permited. Anyway, not knowing the law doesn?t allow us not to follow it.
Thanks,

?.

I think the intent of that (newsgroup and in the Charter) is for newbies who
just post a "test" message instead of an intro. In this case, it would have
been (I think) possibly not helpful to all migrate over to alt.test, because
we're all using different ISP's and newservers from different countries trying
to make sure all of us see your posts here.
All we'd be proving on alt.test is that we can see your posts over there. (I
could be wrong).

Anyhow I can see your post,
J
