Daffman - 03 May 2004 04:23 GMT Yawn....I know I was knee deep into it this afternoon, but this Medical Crap person, and all those digging up the sh.t are really starting to be a bore. As you can see, many have come out from lurking to take sides, those for our charter, the good we do here as patients, caregivers, and survivors, and those who have yet to give any sufficient medical information, support or even an inkling of knowledge into what this group is all about. "Medical Watch" hasn't even acknowledged that this group is for people whose lives have been touched by cancer. I think that he or "it" has simply picked the only letter that it recognized on the screen, and that it can read, and began to slam the poster who was attached to it. Piggybacking this individual's posts and agreeing with him may find it's way into more hot water. Treatments and studies always have data available to back up the claims that are made. If alternative therapies are to be talked about, they need just as much medical documentation as VAC treatments or radiation therapy. I am all for discussion, but this line of harassment is getting old and silly. Time to grow up and move on. Life's too short to waste time on foolishness! Salisha

(minus the likes of J.) > Medical Watch Okay, so let us get on with it then. Cancer is the biggest battle that anyone has to face in their lives and precious energy and time is being wasted with all the sniping and back-biting that is going on here right now.
You obviously have an issue with J, okay that's your opinion, but not necessarily ours.
Daffman - 03 May 2004 14:11 GMT J has been touched by cancer. She was a caregiver a few years back...What's your reason for being here? how have you been touched? Patient, caregiver, medical professional? If you haven't get lost. We don't need you, there are plenty of us to take care of eachother.

Daffman - 04 May 2004 05:11 GMT I can't remember the name...Paradise by the dashboard light? I think...It was funny, especially with pink boa's to go along with....the bridal party had changed into real clothes and were wearing boa's...it was fun

I like the same too Phyllis and also a bit of the legendary Queen for good measure.

I also like the Beatles, Lennon and McCartney as 'soloists', and quite a bit of classical music as well. I'm a bit strange in my musical tastes ;-)

Cancer Survivor - 03 May 2004 14:58 GMT I agree, let's get on supporting each other and not talk about charters, reporting people, doing google searchs etc. The important thing is to support each other, we may not agree, but as long as we are respectful to each other isn't that the important think!

Did you have any luck transcribing my e-mail Salisha??
I managed to sleep last night, but had a really whacky dream, something tells me I have totally lost the plot.
I went to a wedding, on my motorbike, wearing black leathers, no idea whose wedding it was, but I gate crashed it, and forced the groom to marry me!!
Perhaps I need some pills after all.
Hugs

Daffman - 04 May 2004 13:22 GMT I did finally get some sleep at like 4 this morning....I think the Advil did me in!!!..no headache now either, anyway...I had a weird dream too...about the house up the street and it had three of my friends from when I was young in it....strange....I wanted to rent the house up the street, and so did they, so it was a race to the finish...I have lost it...I never remember my dreams so...this one really had to be a weird one.....BTW...was the groom a real looker Alayne...? lol Salisha

Perhaps it is just all deep and meaningful about wanting to still be married! Or being so desperate for company that I am going to go gatecrashing into other peoples lives!!

But surely the best way to deal with trolls is to ignore them. There's no fun to be had talking to yourself is there? If you don't want to follow J's advice re Block Senders/killfile/filters just don't respond. He/she/it is getting a kick out of riling you and so long as you rise to the bait he/she/it will haunt the ng. Have some fun yourself .. deny the sad soul satisfaction. ;-) ---- *The Lymphomaniac* .. now returning to lurking mode but not before dispensing the bestest of complementary therapies.
