    Friends are funny.
Some friends are ones who appear that you never ever saw
before. People who come out of nowhere and open their hearts and show
what kind of people they are.
How do you thank these people? The surprise guardian angels?
You tell them what they mean to you. You treat them as you
would want to be treated.
Some friends are ones that shrink into the shadows and you
never see again. These might be people who you thought were close and
would stand by you but they don't.
    Should you hate them?
No, pity them. They'll never know what it's like to stand that
close to the light and not be burned. They'll never know what it's
like to have a closeness to real friends. Nothing you can do will ever
show them what they are missing out on.
    Friends are funny...
