Lymphoma Bone Biopsy

Well just got back my results from the Bone biopsy it is negative no
activity in the bones which the onocoligist says is great news said he
would go over the new CT with me Tomorrow before my first CHOP+R
he seemed pleased that the bone biopsy was negitive and said that was
good news.  Wish he would of said something about the CT kinda makes me
wonder?  Oh well I guess I will find out tomorrow on the CT just wanted
to keep all informed I was sweating bullets on the Bone Biopsy what a
relief one less thing to worry about.

Stew that is such great news. I know when I had that test done, being
told "negative" was music to my ears. Good luck with your treatment.

Why are you getting CHOP+R if your BMB was negative?

The standard for treatmrent for lymphoma
you had negitive bone mets right?
but was your treatment for lymphoma not CHOP+R and  RADS?
My onocoligist said that is the standard treatment for lymphoma. C H O P

I did not have Radiation or CHOP+R.. I was given 6 months of
Fludarabine. I dont think there is a "standard". I thought it depended
on stage and locations of the enlarged lymph nodes that are involved.

CHOP is more or less a standard for intermediate or high grade lymphoma.

Earlier stages get less CHOP, later get more. Rituximab is added often.
Radiation may be used for bulky disease.
There is no "standard" standard.
