Hi J:

Remember we spoke of guitar playing?

Well... I haven't recorded that rendition of YYZ just yet, but here is
a piece I did just randomly while feeling pretty deep feelings.

Maybe you or others here might want an eight minute diversion.
It is in MP3 format to make it smaller - but even now its about 8 megs
uncompressed.

I do not claim this to be a polished work - it is a rough, raw,
unedited copy of some loser playing his guitar into his computer, but
with feeling...

If you download it, let me know what you think, maybe I'll do better
next time...

Ron

You will need WinZip or something that opens zip files to extract
this, then something like Windows Media Player or WinAmp or Sonique
or... to actually play it.

hey Ron, took forever to download on my dialup,I'll listen to it in the
middle of the night and let you know.

I can forward to my friend who does the graveyard shift Monday mornings
on a non-commercial radio station. If it fits with the genres he has
planned or decides he likes it enough despite not fitting, I'd like him to
be able to announce a title and the artist name before or after playing
it.
Quick please !
if it's deemed good enough for radio, what title would you give it and if
you were to become famous what name would you give yourself or your band?
(unless you'd rather not share it)

As it is kinda raw I didn't officially name it... but it was
originally the third track of a multitrack recording... So when I had
to call it something to save the file, "track 3 blues" just sounded
right.  It has a train station kind of feel to it, and since the
analogy of death and going somewhere fits...

I am not terribly eager to post my "real" name in Usenet.
Do you ICQ or AOL IM?

Maybe you could send contact info to my juno account and I can e-mail
you back?

That would be wolfgang<at>juno<dot>com
It gets about 300 spam messages a month, so please make the subject
stand out --- like HEY RON or something like that.

I'll go clean out the spam next.

Well, if you call that raw, then I have to call what someone else sent me
5 years ago junk !
Yours left me wanting to hear more, so I listened to it 5 times !
Well done !

Thank you kindly for taking the time and bandwidth to download it.

It is kinda sad, isn't it?  I tried to illustrate conflict and
resolution - In retrospect I think I like it with the screwed-up notes
left in --- it is more representative of the process of trying and
trying and trying... and not everything works.

Hey Ron, I forwarded it to him, he'll probably play it next Monday.
He'd let me know what he and/or his listeners think.
He said something about maybe his listeners will suggest titles.
I'll let you know.
