Has anyone read this book, An Air That Kills"?
This is a great resource for those interested in the health crisis
caused by asbestos. I have known many people that have died from the
deadly asbestos related diseases such as Mesothelioma. The book mainly
talks about a mine in Libby, Montana, but I'd be willing to wager that
there are many other pockets in the country that have high rates of
asbestos related cancer. Does anyone know of any towns out there like
Libby, Montana?

Hi, I'm new here but not to the devastation of cancer. My Uncle (63)works in
a ship yard in Bath, Maine (BIW.) People there are dropping from the effects
now. Even the women that live with the men and do their laundry are getting
it. I guess it goes in the air and gets them when they handle the dirty
clothes. I asked if there was a decent decree on asbestodosis. He was told
that there wasn't enough evidence!  Well back in 1980 my grandfather got
emphysema and never smoked cigarettes in his life. That to is from working
in shipyards. I'll buy that book, thanks.
