I have found a cure for my skin cancer with some black salve, but I am looking for an internal cure?  I am so confused. Which one really works?  America is dying and I keep hearing about these claims.  If you have used one of these whether success or failure, would you please respond here?

Thank you.

I would love to study one of these cases. If one of these has worked for you, would you email me?  I would like to see all medical records and not just "claims" I am interested in seeing that you had the cancer without chemo/radition, and then you tried one of these things or all, whatever, and now you claim a cure.  So far, I've talked to people online, but nobody.. so far has the records to prove it.  My search is new however, so I will give those the benefit of the doubt. I have not tried any of the above, but I am very interested in the claims of cures.

Thanks.

For those interested, here is the charter for misc.health.alternative:

"misc.health.alternative is a newsgroup for general non-technical
discussion (pro *and* con) of health care and therapies which are
alternative, complementary, or not commonly accepted by Western
scientific medicine.

Appropriate topics include (but are not limited to): acupuncture,
Alexander technique, alternative cancer therapies, aromatherapy,
ayurveda, chiropractic, color therapy, healing, herbalism, holistic
dentistry, holistic medicine, homeopathy, hypnosis, iridology,
macrobiotics, meditation, megavitamin therapy, midwifery, naturopathy,
natural vision improvement (Bates method, etc.), osteopathy,
radiesthesia, reflexology, shiatsu and do-in, traditional medicine
(Arab, Chinese, Native American, etc.), and yoga.

Flames, name-calling, and abusive behavior in general (from either
side) are not welcome, but constructive criticisms and arguments are
encouraged, with the caveat that misc.health.alternative is to be a
generally non-technical consumer level discussion group."

And do read Peter Moran's and Orac's posts/replies about those.

Smart girl, to look for real evidence!

You will find the odd, credible, good quality case study suggesting
remission or cure with almost any of the "alternative" treatments on offer.
But are you any further ahead?   You will usually find that those patients
have used many different treatments and are unable to say for sure what, if
anything, helped them.

They are also very few in relation to the number of patients using
alternatives, now at least  half a million yearly in the USA alone, so that
the well-documented phenomenon of spontaneous remissions will explain some.

It is hopeless trying to find methods that truly work while those offering
such treatments don't fully open their books so as to allow a measurable
*remission rate* to be determined.     What I would like to see is for
cancer patients to demand of those offering them "alternative" treatments
"how many patients like me have you treated and what happened to them".

It is your absolute right to know this.   Without a little consumer pressure
it is far too easy for fraudulent or deluded  practitioners/salesmen to
thrive.
