My wife completed her journey March 26 after an 8 year toe to toe stand with
breast to bone to liver ca. Thanks to Tony, Kim and Tim, et. al. for your
quick responses to my questions over the years.
I miss my wife so terribly much.

26 March was our wedding anniversary.
I ponder often how I'd be without my husband, and how he'd be without me,
especially on such days. I think the loneliness would be the worst part of
it and the poignancy of your moving post along with that significant date
brought it home to me with even more force.
You have stirred very deep feelings in me and, I'm sure, in many others on
this ng. We'll be thinking of you in the days and weeks to come. Thank you
for sharing your very sad thoughts.

My wife for 25 years died of similar mets just over a year ago.
>I miss my wife so terribly much.
Of course, you have my great sympathy - for what that's worth.
Your feelings will continue for quite a while, you just have to wait
for the edges to grow in to cover that hole in your life - but they'll
never fill it.

Sadness at her passing, but relief that the struggle is ended.
Now life has to be rebuilt in a new configuration.
How are the children taking it?
