How does a non webtv internet user access this site?  I see that many of
the posters are outside of webtv, but don't find a URL to send my friend
whose daughter was just diagnosed.  Thanks for your help...Leah

Leah, I am not sure I can help but I usually get here through Usenet on aol.
There is a feature on aol where I got to Internet, and from there go to
newsgroups, go to advanced search and type in:
alt.support.tourette
I can also get here through google.  That address is:
http://groups.google.com/groups?q=alt.support.cancer.breast&hl=en&lr=&safe=o
There is at least one other way  to get here but can't recall the source--am
sure that someone here can help.  Hope your friend can get here.  If not, your
friend can do a web search for other groups--type in cancer support.

Leah, forward this to your friend. If her newsreader is set up (she has to
contact her ISP for the correct settings), then she should be able to click
on what is below and download messages, read some, then start posting
news:alt.support.cancer.breast

She can also go to google.com, click Groups, type in
alt.support.cancer.breast and read it that way. I don't think it's quite so
user friendly as using your email programs 'newsgroups' feature. If you need
help getting your Outlook Express newsgroup setup, write me off line and
I'll send instructions.
