Hello Susan,
thankyou very much for your reply. I know a lot of things are very
controversial during chemo and I won't enter in to anything before I've
researched it fully. I have decided to continue with my antioxidant supplement
regime which includes 7grams of vit C, during chemo. This too is
controversial, but after weighing up the evidence for and against, the evidence
seems to be stacked in favour of their use during chemo, whilst any ideas that
they may be contraindicated are purely theoretical (with a couple of
exceptions).
However, I can't make my mind up about the IP6 and enzymes, due to a lack of
research. Perhaps I'm not looking in the right places, but until I know more
I'll leave them alone I think.
Many thanks for your help and I'll let you know if I find anything.
Love and best wishes.
Janet.

Inositol hexaphosphate (IP6), also known as myo-inositol hexaphosphate and phytic
acid, is a naturally occurring compound first identified in 1855. IP6 is found in
substantial amounts in whole grains, cereals, legumes, nuts, and seeds, and is the
primary energy source for the germinating plant. []
So I'd eat *real* (not grocery store processed) chow mein and chop suey :-) if I
couldn't get enough of the above foods.
