Hi everyone,

I posted a few weeks ago about the tiny hard lump I found. I got the
mammo done today.... they didn't find anything, but they did feel it.
I was persistent and I wanted this investigated, so they scheduled for
me to have an ultrasound done earlier today.... I had it done and
again nothing showed up. The doctor came in and told me that he thinks
it could be a lymp node and not a calcification and he also said to
come in in another 6 months for another ultrasound and if it gets any
bigger to come in immediately. I am soooo relieved, but the lump is
still there and on my mind. Has anyone ever heard of lymp nodes
causing a tiny hard lump?

Thanks for reading,
Dharma

Hi Dharma,

Yes, I remember your post.  I'm SO happy to learn that everything's okay.
And yes, several years ago I had a small pea-sized lump in my underarm that
was just a lymph node swollen for some reason.  After a few months it went
away.

Thank you for being so happy for me, I really appreciate it. I just
wish it was good news for others as well. This whole thing opened my
eyes to these things and I will definately keep doing the self
examinations and will go to my yearly mammo's instead of not going.
And I want to thank you all for reading my posts.

Sorry, don't have any experience re such but it was definately a good sign that
it wasn't showing up and that it is being monitored.  Although he recommended
coming in in 6 mos, if still uneasy have it checked sooner.  Take care and
wishing you all the best!
