I am very sorry to hear about your fianc?e's diagnosis, and at such a time.
I haven't heard of this particular complementary/alternative therapy before,
but there are such a lot of them about, and this one does not appear to have
anything particularly distinctive. It has the usual hand-waving theorising
and mention of the immune system, vague supporting statistics without any
provenance or peer-reviewed publications, and the usual hefty price tag.
My wife also had a tumour which was misdiagnosed for some time as mastitis,
until it had grown to 7cm. After surgery she knew her chances of long term
survival were not good and when she was duly diagnosed with mets, like most
people she was willing to clutch at any straw which offered a hope of
prolonging her life. She heard of a friend of a friend who had "had
metastatic breast cancer" and had had "Cold Laser" treatment (aka LLLT) in
Moscow (she was Russian) and was now in remission. She duly travelled to
Moscow and underwent the same treatment (in addition to conventional
therapy), which was declared a success (although I was never able to get an
explanation of how they measured this). There was no perceptible remission
of her disease and she died nine months later. Like many alternative
therapies this one claims to boost the immune system, and rather ducks fact
that the immune system at best only weakly attacks cancers.
So OK, maybe I'm biased, but I'd say spend your money on something enjoyable
rather than this. Of course I hope she will make a full recovery, but if
she has to go, then better to make the most of what life is left than to
waste it railing against unfair fate.
