Many Charities = Bottomless Pits of Greed

It would probably be best to shop frugally, & then donate cash straight
to a local organization, where you can keep a better watch on exactly
where the money is going.

Also, it's a great comfort knowing that it won't be going, into the deep
pockets or benefit's pkg of the next celebrity CEO, that charities such
as Red Cross hire.

PS  I've heard that during WW2, the Red Cross was there with hot coffee,
but only for those soldiers who had the money to pay.
