God Bless Kylie for speaking out and may she be blessed with excellent
health.

While working closely with women and their breast implant challenges
for nearly 13 years, I hear stories almost daily that make me question
the safety and efficacy of mammograms.

I believe at this point, that mammograms can and do cause great harm
in some women ... and that radiating healthy breast tissue and less
healthy breast tissue alike ... can exacerbate disease.

Years ago I realized that there was a huge breast cancer industry and
related public relations teams proclaiming the safety of mammograms.

Just last week,

Breast Cancer: Busting Common Myths ...

INDUSTRY PROPAGANDA DISCUSSES THESE AS" MYTHS" :

EXCERPT
"The radiation from mammograms causes breast cancer.

Oh, boy, that's a doozie. The amount of radiation received in a
mammogram is very small and not a risk factor.

In fact, mammograms save many lives by detecting tumors early.

Women diagnosed by mammogram with stage 0 or 1 breast cancer have a 98
percent survival rate, thus demonstrating the value of annual
mammograms."               Posted by Myrl Jeffcoat, March 30, 2008

Kylie Minogue warned women to seek a second opinion

Kylie Minogue has revealed on US TV that the first doctor she saw
failed to diagnose she had breast cancer.

The 39-year-old singer, who announced she had the illness in 2005, was
speaking on Ellen DeGeneres' chat show.

"Because someone is in a white coat and using big medical instruments
doesn't necessarily mean they're right," said the Australian star.

Minogue added she continued with her Showgirl tour having seen a
doctor and told that she was perfectly healthy.

The star said she had heard stories from other women who had been to
see a doctor for a diagnosis and were told things were fine.

'Intuition'

"I don't want to say that to frighten people but that's just a fact,"
said Minogue.

DeGeneres revealed she had had a lumpectomy after finding a lump in
her breast.

"I had just had a mammogram and they didn't find anything and a couple
of weeks later I found a lump," she said.

In a warning to other women Minogue said: "You must follow your
intuition and if you have any doubt go back again".

Last year she revealed how her "anger" at having cancer helped
energise her in the recording studio once she completed her treatment.
Soon after Minogue's diagnosis experts reported an increase of breast
cancer awareness amongst women.

Her new album, X which was released last year, reached number four in
the UK Top 40.

Mammogram Inaccuracy More Likely with Obese Women

The Archives of Internal Medicine (May 24, 2004; 164(10): 1140-7)
reports that obese women are 20 per cent more likely to be wrongly
diagnosed with false positive readings. In May icon we reported that
the 4th European Breast Cancer Conference stated mammograms were at
best 67 per cent accurate.

Apparently in obese women, the thicker volume of breast tissue gives
poorer image clarity when squeezed between the plates.

I had  a clear mammogram in sep.2006 . October 2007 I was diagnosed with
primary breastcancer second stage . They thought all my lymphnodes were
affected and took them all at the same time but only found cancer in one .
