Radiation

I need some advice please.

I went to see my doc today, and was shocked when I saw her.  She had a
baseball cap on, and had lost her hair due to breast cancer.  It broke
my heart.  She is a wonderful doc.

She told me that she has one more time for chemo, and then her hair will
start growing back, even though she will need one year of radiation.

I discussed this situation with another b/c survivor, and she said
nobody gets radiation for one year.

Did I misunderstand my doc?  Just curious.

Many thanks.

I think so.  Maybe she meant a year for her hair to grow back.
