After I started on Arimedex I would have severe pain in my joints. The pain moved around and came and went. I asked my oncologist if the Arimedex could be causing it and he said "No way" I was told by other doctors that it certainly could and furthermore it could develope into rheumatoid arthritis. He said they can do a blood test to find out. They had and I do have RA. I'm now on Tamoxifin. methotrexate and remicade infusions plus others. Teddy I had the same problem recently after I had been on Arimidex for just a few months. My joint pain was diagnosed as PMR (Polymyalgia Rheumatica) so I'm now on steroids.
