After I started on Arimedex I would have severe pain in my joints. The
pain moved around and came and went. I asked my oncologist if the
Arimedex could be causing it and he said "No way" I was told by other
doctors that it certainly could and furthermore it could develope into
rheumatoid arthritis. He said they can do a blood test to find out.
They had and I do have RA. I'm now on Tamoxifin. methotrexate and
remicade infusions plus others. Teddy

I had the same problem recently after I had been on Arimidex for just a few
months. My joint pain was diagnosed as PMR (Polymyalgia Rheumatica) so I'm
now on steroids.
I have OA, so I'm not sure if this connects with your post. My blood is now
being tested every two weeks.

Talk to your doctor about the use of fish oils. They help lubricate
the joints.
All good medicine,
