Well, I've never had 'full-blown' lympho but I put that down to having had
help, advice and training from the service. They're also there just to
listen, if you need it.
If I don't contact them annually they ring me to ask how I am and if I've
kept up with the MLD - not just me of course, they do it with everyone.
A really encouraging aspect of the service is that the same staff have been
there from the start - they're utterly dedicated, some might say they have a
missionary attitude but I think that's good.
We ARE lucky and the founder is gradually encouraging other Trusts to
develop their own services.
