Yes, I meant another shape maybe. I had to try multiple shapes to get the
"look" that I was used to. Some forms, even though they were my size had
too much projection and actually looked bigger than my size. The form that
I finally settled on is a size smaller than my original size but is shaped
more like I was. The same form in my original size was way too big. If I
haven't completely confused you that's good.

Boy, my head is spinning--you make me glad I got an implant. But Tammy, I
thought you were going to have a DIEP flap done. Are you on a waiting list,
or what?

Oh - long story. I wanted to have Dr. Alan from the Breast Reconstruction
Center. However, he doesn't accept my insurance. My insurance company
won't make an exception for me for this procedure so I would have to put up
$11,000 up front for the surgery. I met with the surgeon who does the
procedure here at the Medical Center where I go. The surgery here takes 12
hours vs 6 hours with Dr. Alan for a bilat. Patient's have been discharged
as soon as 4 days from Dr. Alan but here it is 7 days in the hospital. She
didn't have any pictures of any patients and promised to get them to me but
so far hasn't, I should call her back. Then I went and broke my arm in June
and have been out of work for 10 weeks now. I don't see how I will be able
to request 6 more weeks off as the Dr. here has strict restrictions on going
back to work, even no driving for 6 weeks. So...I'm still wearing my forms
:(
