Her breast cancer returned and she now has mets in her pelvic bone.  She has
been in vaccination clinical trial the last year or so.   This  trial is
directed a the her2neu+++ variety of cancer she has.
She is improving and the vaccinations show promise but she is also on
Herceptin, Femara and Zometa that may be helping improve her condition.
I was in Florida through the winter helping but am back home now catching up
on chores.  Susan is  now back up at JohnsHopkins getting her booster
vaccines and tests.  She will be there through the month.

I am so sorry to hear this Ev.  So many think once you have breast cancer
and chemo everything is fine.  I am dealing with friends like that now.  I
now have a nodule on my thyroid.  I ignored my doctors "watch and wait" and
I'm seeing a heck and neck surgeon to get better advice.

Is this the first time she has had Herceptin?
