Hello Chris (?)

Trouble is, I'm in England! If you're in Ca it's a long way to post a book
:-(

It's a very kind offer though, I wonder if I could send you some US stamps,
I have some in my box.

Whoops!  I think you put the address in the subject line instead of the
address line.

I don't think US stamps work in Canada anyway.

So reverse those last two letters and send me an email with your
address. If I can mail it this week you'll probably get it by Mothering
Sunday. Or maybe even by Pancake Tuesday.

I'm in Atlantic Canada, so we're almost neighbours. Anyway, it's quite
ok, I send things to England all the time, and you would be doing me a
favour to have this small paperback go to a good home. And if you
dislike it you don't have to keep it, I won't be checking up....

According to a bio of her I have, Streatfeild wrote quite a few books
for adults, including some romances under a different name, Susan
Scarlett, but the inventory for some of the best was destroyed when her
publishing house was bombed during the war. Thank god it wasn't the
children's books!

You can't imagine how nice it is for me to know that another adult still
reads her books.  Do you by any chance read Lorna Hill as well?
