help.

I think these are the "pincers" which give the Crab its name.

It looks like a varroa mite, which is a parasite of honey bees.
How fascinating to have your picture though, I wish I had mine.

Kili, the "horns" aren't metastases*, some tumors just grow in a
'spikey' (spiculated) way. What is worring is that these spikes almost
reach the skin (<5mm). If the skin is involved (thats more than
dimpling) its a T4 tumor. The size thats given on the screen indicates a
T1c tumor. The size on the next screen (no pic) indicates a T2 tumor,
presumeably they included the spikes in the measurement.
I later saw the report, Dr Amin describes a T2-sized tumor and a lymph
node. In his summary he incorrectly says both lumps are in the axilla
yet the main tumor is at 7 o'clock, oh well... Usual third world grammar
unfortunately so its a problem to decipher precisely what he really
means..

*Metastases are separate from the primary tumor, such as in the lymph
nodes or bones, lung, etc.

Your frustration is totally understandable.
I'm based in Europe and accustomed to national health systems, so your
predicament is a rarity here. Even our illegal aliens get operations,
not sure about elective ones.. OTOH the state deducts about $800 a month
off my paycheck for health insurance, something I use maybe once a
decade on the basis of 'physician heal thyself' so its easy to see how
the state can afford to be 'generous' and offer cancer operations for
free.

Kili,
Your smart in getting it out. I first had a lumpectomy and then needed a
Mastectomy...then I had to get a port put in for chemo...I had 3 surgeries
in 2 weeks and chemo from the third week after Mastectomy. My next surgery
will be a reconstruction when chemo is all done. My lump had irregularly
bordersa nd was 1.58cm on the sono and when they took it out it was 2.2cm
and had cancer grade 3 tumor on all margins.
Keep up the fight. I am nauseaus (sp) form the chemo.

Kytril and zofran worked wonders for me. Compazine for me wasn't effective.

To be most effective Kytril/Zofran have to be taken -before- the nausea
starts, preferably administered with the chemo. Pami, do tell the
oncologist about your nausea.

Pami,
The compazine did not work out for Jill either. She has switched to Kytril
and that is working better.
Good luck,
Craig
