Hi,

Sometime back there were a few posts regarding help for mouth sores, etc.  I
have the worst sore throat when I swallow, I have had it every time I had
chemo but it has gotten steadily worse each time and this time it's really
bad.  Does anyone know if it's worth calling the onc nurse tomorrow - is
there anything that can help.  It's too far down for any kind of mouthwash
or magic swizzle and from what I've heard of magic swizzle, it tastes really
bad and right now I don't need anything to taste worse than it is.

Thanks.

Call the nurse in the am. If you have thrush you have to do the swish and
swallow mouthwash.
There is a form of lidcaine that can kill the throat pain, Good luck alex

I have to take Methotrexate and 10 at a pop...I have been told they will
cause mouth sores...I was advised salt water gargle...if I got mouth sores
form them.
