Hi all
Well I had my first treatment yesterday and so far so good. I'm out and
about doing my yoga thing and also went for a run which was great. On
the wig front I really only want something for the few social events
coming up where I won't want to face a lot of looks from people I don't
know. What I did today was buy 2 cheap but fun wigs, I've always wanted
long straight hair! On Thursday I'm going to a 'Look good feel better'
workshop which is held for cancer patients at one of the hospitals in
Toronto. They give advice on make-up, skin care and they also have a
wig selection so I can see if I want to get something a bit more
practical (and expensive). But most of the time I'm expecting to be
going with caps, bandanas etc, thing is Toronto can get pretty cold
over the Winter so some kind of covering is required! :)
