I had a lumpectomy last December, and am grateful that it was not cancer.

I had a six-month checkup in June, and the lump is back in the same
area.  My doc said he is hoping it is scar tissue from the Dec. surgery.

I am to go back mid December for another ultrasound.

Because I have a high deductible, I would like to delay this appt. until
January 2nd (appx. 2 weeks), as my deductible starts over at that time.

Can two weeks make a big difference?  I know my health is first
priority, but medical costs are so high that I am trying to keep costs down.

Many thanks.

If it wasn't cancer then it probably isn't now.  I'm not a doctor but I
do play one on TV - talk to *your* doctor and explain why you'd like to
wait a couple weeks.  He should be able to accomodate you.
