Tim and Mary and other people here from my most beloved England, my
heart goes out to you and your families.  I am so outraged I can't
stop crying.

Thank you Marilyn. Although Tim and I are a long way from London it seems
very close, suddenly. But we really appreciate support from those of you in
other parts.

I suddenly realised that I don't know where other British asc ng
contributors are, it would be good if they could respond and give us good
news. We're like a family here, aren't we?

Our youngest son works in London a lot but it took a long time before I
could bring myself to telephone him. When simply asked, "Where are you?" His
response: "I'm not in London." made me weep with relief. He came back
yesterday.

Thanks again, Marilyn. It helps.

Yes I ditto the Marilyn's sentiments too. Sorry that England was touched but
admire the way you all are handling it.

Mary,
I posted under the first message by mistake...I saw that one first.
That'll teach me to pay better attention, huh? ;-)
I left a message for you there. Again I'm
very sorry that you've had to go through this in your country.
Take care and God bless

Mary,
Where are you located in relation to London, as far as distance. You
don't have to be exact...I'm not asking for your address or anything.
;-)
Take care there/God bless

I'm in Leeds, Yorkshire, 200 miles centre to centre. Tim is approximately
the same distance from London, although some way from me on the other side
of the hill, which is what we northerners call the Pennines - the spine of
England.

Mary.
