and I'm now awaiting pathology.  I didn't mind the procedure a bit.  If I
could have been emotionally detached, I'd have found it fascinating.  Being
on my tummy wasn't a problem and the only discomfort was the injection of
the numbing agent.  Results may be back as soon as tomorrow, but could be on
Tuesday (because of the 4th of July holiday). Husband was with me and I felt
well enough to stop at our favorite Chinese Buffet for dinner before heading
home :-)  Was really tired, but think that was pure mental and physical
exhaustion.  Keep all those appendages crossed, and thanks for being here
:-)

Just know that prayers are being sent to you for a good outcome. I
truly understand the "waiting" as all in here have gone through. I'm
hoping you hear soon, so you can have some peace of mind about
this.....
Take care there my dear friend & God bless you

Hi Barb,

Glad it went OK.

I'm hesitant to post about my experience, which wasn't so good.

Since I'm very injured, the position on the table, & staying in it for
that length of time, was painful beyond belief.

The numbing shot did nothing. My breasts were very large & dense. And
they pushed that hollow needle-thing (?) deep into them, over & over.

However, it was survivable. I didn't have to scream or anything.

And after it was over, I was OK.

It was just more painful, than I thought it would be.

I wonder if size of breasts, & depth of calcifications, play a factor in
amount of pain?

I also have fibromyalgia from injuries, which probably made the pain
worse.

I hope your results are good. Take care.
