I was just listening to CNN while pulling up old carpet in my front
porch and caught the last of a segment on this new book. CNN
interviewed the author and an oncologist or other cancer specialist.

Among other things, it will discuss all the drugs involved in chemo,
what they do and what the side effects are.

CNN repeats things several times so it may be on again.

I just saw this book online last night.[dummies.com website] They want,
I think $21.99 for it. But don't quote me...ahhh chemo brain strikes
again. ;-)
I've got quite a few of these books [10 at last count, I think] on
various subjects and they are very informative and easy reads. No mumbo
jumbo...just plain english. I've got Gardening, Birding, Meditation,
PC's, Webtv, Internet, Roses [2].

It was just a matter of time. Personally I didn't want to know about
what I was being given - yikes, I still get nauseous thinking about
it- but I might get a couple of copies to be able to give to people.

I like the Dummies books too. I have HTML, Win98 and Shakespeare.
