Hi Everyone,

It's been ages since I last posted here, although I am still a lurker
in this group :)

I'd been having recurrent eye infections, and I went to see an
opthamologist. The first thing he said was "Are you taking Tamoxifen?"
- which of course I was. Apparently I have corneal changes consistent
with Tamoxifen usage. Has anyone heard of this kind of reaction to
Tamoxifen? The opthamologist described the changes as crystals in the
cornea. Does anyone know anything about this? Is it permanent? Will it
cause other problems down the road?

Of course the onc took me off the Tamoxifen as soon as he heard about
this, but he didn't seem to know anything about the short- or long-term
effects of this change...

Thanks!

Yes, it's been known about for ages.

Nothing to do with infections though.
