Hi
I had my 5th session of chemo last thursday,  FEC,  up to now I have
been so lucky with virtually no side-effects, I haven't been taking my
steroids or other anti-sickness pills.....I have done everything I would
normally do.....came home from the hospital (Stopping for fish and chips on
the way!)  Friday we went to help my son decorate his house, I was painting
all afternoon...Saturday woke up so weary  like my arms were made of
concrete, I have never felt like this before, I literally spent the day on
the setee in and out of sleep...Bobby kept popping in to check I was ok and
if I wanted anything....Couldn't believe how I felt..boy, I'm glad I've only
1 more to go....I really feel for people who have these effects from the
beginning..I'm OK again now...was nearly back to normal on Sunday, went to a
horse show (Just to watch)  One other thing I've noticed is that I 'burp' a
lot for the week after the chemo, seems to come from my toes!!!!   Any one
else find this?  I feel quite embarrassed if out, but can't help it.  Went
for a long ride out this morning, horse thought she was on
holiday.....hasn't been out for a week... Know how you bikers feel...It
certainly blows away the cobwebs....
                                            Thank you all for your
support,, nice to know you're all there

I couldn't do that even without chemo!

And I'm a Tyke! The Federation of Fish Fryers was founded in this city.

But even the smell makes me feel sick ... and has done for years before the
cancer.

I think you've been marvellous!

       Hi,
definitely not marvellous !!!!    just oh-so-lucky with the chemo... can't
believe I've only  1 more session...Could 'burp' for England tho' ...most
inconvenient.....If I didn't let it go I'm sure I would float away.....Bob
is grateful it's only from top end !!!!!!!
