Does anyone have any more info on green tea and it's cancer fighting
effects?  There was a vague story on the newswire this morning describing a
European study, but it didn't indicate which cancers it was helpful
fighting.

I don't have info on that particlar study but you might want to go to the MD
Anderson web site.  They have an alternative medicine information page which
gives a lot of data on what has been studied and what the results were.
Green Tea is one of them.  I have the web site link on my AOL favorites but
don't know how to post it here.

There is a link on our FAQ website at www.cancersupporters.com

The address you want is
  www.mdanderson.org/departments/cimer/
Then click on the links
  "Reviews of Therapies"  then
  "Herbal/Plant Biologic Therapies" then
  "Green Tea"

(The actual URL of the page is rather long to post, it's easier to
describe these clicks.)

I'll try this again.  The MD Anderson web site has a whole section devoted
to research on certain alternative products like herbs and mineral
supplements.  Green tea is one of them. You will have to Google for the
Anderson web site.  A lot of research in alternative treatments has been
done over the years but few conclusions were reached as far as I know.  The
old University of Texas at Camden(?) information is now at Anderson.

Sorry about the repeat.  My computer wasn't showing any new messages.
Hope I have it fixed now.
