For those who read my earlier messages, I'm just reporting back in to
tell you my mother, who was diagnosed with Intracystic Papillary
Carcinoma, had a lumpectomy on Friday as well as the removal of the
appropriate lymph nodes (after the mapping took place). The pathology
report showed that the cancer has not spread. In about three weeks,
she will start radiation therapy every day for five weeks. From then
on, they will just keep close tabs on her via mammograms.
I wish that everyone's journey had the same good news as this one, and
my heart goes out to anyone who has to go through this themselves, or
has a family member who does.
Many thanks for the support and much love and hope to the people who
currently have cancer, the survivors, and the families!!
Hugs,
Gigglz

We encourage all to stick around!
