Thank You for your comments.
I am not sure if she is ready to approach with all the details.  When you
are first diagnosed with cancer, you go through a whirlwind of
thoughts........
I am waiting to hear the wind settle, and come up with ideas from her as to
diagnosis, and treatment.
I gave her this News Group for her benefit.
I use the news group prostate cancer.....
It is very helpful for men and women, husbands and wives.
Again, thanks for your reply.

At the appropriate point, Dr. Susan Love's "Breast Book" (also
recommended by another poster) makes a nice gift.  The recipient can
ignore it until she's ready . . . . and it has a good index, so you can
look up things related to specific questions you have.

It's available at most good-sized general bookstores, or from Amazon.

(No, I'm not a publicist for Dr. Love <g>, but I have turned to the book
over & over during my own diagnosis & treatment.)

Take care, John, and heartfelt wishes for a good course of events for
your sister-in-law.

Ann T.
