The x-ray film itself can be reproduced, but you can easily get a paper copy of
the actual diagnostic report done by the radiologist. If you want to get a
second opinion on your mammogram film, you or the second-opinion clinician you
will be seeing can borrow the original film from the original radiologist.
It's commonplace for clinicians to pass films back and forth as needed. If you
are doing this for the purpose of a second opinion, it might actually be a good
idea to let the second-opinion clinician do another mammogram and compare it to
the original film. This might be a more accurate way to diagnose properly.
Also, you have the right to have copies of any of your medical records as long
as you sign the proper releases as requested by the facility from which you are
obtaining them and show proper identification.
